Nordic nature and music have always walked hand in hand - in folk music, in the romantic repertoire of Sibelius and Grieg, but the new wave of Nordic music takes inspiration in a way that reflects its own time, often through simplicity and introspection. Concert pianist Reetamaria Rajala is the leading expert on minimalist emerging style and wants to share it with you. The concert is a collaboration between three Finnish composers Lara Poe, Cecilia Damström and Saara Lindahl with all having a unique contemporary voice.
